Valentine's Day

I've always thought Valentine's Day was one of the most over-hyped holidays of the year. All over the country men are trying to channel their romantic sides (assuming they have one) to find the perfect gift or plan the perfect evening. And women are building up their hopes for a grand romantic gesture only to be disappointed. Let's face it, Valentine's Day is a holiday custom-made for failure.

Music Man and I celebrated early by going to see the Princess Bride at the Lensic last night. I had never seen the movie and it's one that Music Man has fond memories of so he wanted to share the experience with me. Simple pleasures and shared experiences... in my world that makes for the perfect Valentine's Day.
