There are bouncing baby seagulls living on the roof of the abandoned warehouse. All of the hoopla must be the adults trying to get them off the roof so they'll learn to fly. Of course, I'm not sure why 4:30 in the morning is the optimal time for flight lessons but... any way... It looks as though there are 6 adults & 2 little ones. Every once in awhile the little ones will walk over to the edge of the roof, look down, then turn around & disappear from sight. They're probably thinking "Yeah, that's sooooooo not going to happen." For a while this afternoon all of the adults disappeared & the 2 little ones were sitting on the edge of the building watching the roof of my building very intently. Maybe the adults were trying to tempt them across with a tasty little fish or something.
