Tapestry Workshop

This evening's class was spent building our looms out of 12 in x 16 in stretcher bars then learning to warp the loom. Sounds easy but warping correctly takes practice. You have to get the threads wrapped as tightly as possible then tie off your knot without losing any of the tension. A third hand would be really helpful. I can't believe how stiff & sore my hands are right now. Hopefully next week we'll start working on our designs & the actual weaving of the pieces. I'm really anxious to get started.
